The Initial Commit: Sebuah Niat, Sebuah Perjalanan Pulang
The author reflects on navigating between thousands of lines of code, numerous project roadmaps, and market analysis while hearing a spiritual calling that transcends worldly logic. As a former Islamic student (santri) now working in technology, the author grapples with the illusion of control, recognizing that they are merely an instrument in divine orchestration.
This documentation serves two purposes:
- Internal Documentation: An audit space to record processes, feelings, and spiritual dynamics over 40 days, maintaining traceability of divine mercy and trials like maintaining code integrity.
- Legacy Documentation: Transforming each moment into written guidance following Imam Syafi'i's principle that “knowledge is not what is memorized, but what brings benefit.”
“The highest achievement of a servant is not when successfully organizing worldly matters through logic, but realizing their helplessness without the Creator's guidance.”
The documentation aims to convert personal experience into public value and potential spiritual guidance for future pilgrims.
